Thank you for choosing Tunbury School for your son or daughter. Tunbury is a large school with over 500 children in the whole school, but your child will be part of a much smaller community for their first few years.

The first year at school will be spent in one of three classes with about 27 children in each. Each class has a qualified teacher and a qualified teaching assistant who both give the children teaching and pastoral care.

Children who are starting with us in September will have two visits during June or July and those starting in January will have visits in November or December.

There will be an evening meeting for parents to meet the school staff and visit the class rooms in June and November. At that meeting parents will be given all details of the timetable for entry.
